Short Segments: Medical Education in small bites.
This is an emergency medicine education website featuring short educational pieces that allow the reader to quickly scan and review essential concepts in emergency medicine.

Goal: The goal was to present small amounts of information containing key concepts, utilizing both words and graphics to help the student learn and hopefully retain critical information for recognition and treatment of clinical conditions.

Format: The format choosen was PDF files to allow readers with multiple types of devices to access and read the material.

Intent: The intention is to present up to date, brief reviews of important topics in Emergency Medicine for the pre-hospital and hospital based healthcare provider.

Credibility: These reviews are based on standards of care published by national and international medical bodies and based on the latest scientific evidence, from peer reviewed journals.

Non-medical persons: These topics may also be interesting and educational to non-medical persons.
